putain de bordel de merde!

so, iu thought i made up the approal letter from purdue's irb. i called purdue and explained the situation. purdue called iu and told them that i had been approved FOR REAL and that everything was fine. you think that was the end of it???? nooooo! now, the brand new thing that iu has invented is that they want the protocol that i gave to purdue! SIGNED! by me, margie, and the chair of the english department. which i don't have since I GAVE IT TO PURDUE to get their approval! so i got so upset this afternoon that i called iu and i said that was it, i withdraw, you guys are the most incompetent and demanding and annoying people in the world, thank you very much for your help and support of research!!!! and that's when the lady says "if you want to withdraw, you have to sign a special withdrawal form and bring it to us!" THE NERVE! if they don't want me to do the project they could have TOLD ME right away so i wouldn't have wasted hours and hours on the phone and on the road, hundreds of long distance phone calls, gas to go there for nothing, about 266 new grey hairs, and a fucking ulcer (ok, not an ulcer but cysts, which is basically the same...)! so i wrote to the very nice program director who's been waiting for more than 5 weeks now and told her that i didn't know what to do, i can't even withdraw, i am stuck, and those guys are A PAIN IN THE NECK! DAMMIT!!! i am so enraged!! i wish i had excellent writing skills so i would write to iu's irb office and tell them exactly what i think of them!

oh that one lady who's been such a pain, her name is sherry babcock. i have never met her in person but talked to her about every other day for the last 5 weeks... her name reminds me of sissy babcock, the idiotic woman of that tv series that my mom liked so much called the nanny... must be her sister ;)

aaaaaggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TskTsk, if I had excellent writing skills... Doesn't seem that your lacking the vocabulary being necessary to express yourself with ... hmm, let's say stringent precision. If ever they have a look into your blog they will have a quite good idea of what exactly you think of them :)

I think you have the guts to get it through (overall impression after having crawled over your blogs). With regard to your ulcer let me try to backtranslate one of my favorite mottos that I pinned on the wall of my office:
Never keep a fart inside. It will go up your backbone until it reaches your brain. Thats how shitty ideas are born!
Courage! Elmar
