my horoscope for today
and i swear i am NOT making it up: Inspect every detail of the big, new plan or document that's come your way -- and enlist colleagues to help give it the once-over. Many small corrections will be needed.
haha, and all i've been doing these days is getting those translations back and asking people to verify them and make a few changes here and there.... huhuh...
got the turkish one done today. 9 languages to go... oh, and i showed the chinese translation to a friend from taiwan who said she couldn't read it well. the translating people lied to me, they said taiwanese people can understand chinese perfectly... but not simplified chinese! my friend's husband said he would do the translation in taiwanese... that's nice... but i'm so stressed out with these translations... i should send them ON MONDAY and i only have 2 languages really done! i guess it's just not going to happen on monday.
also got margie's comments about my second chapter. i copy it here word for word: Lucie, terrific job. It's one of the most engaging lit review chapters I've read in a long time. I encourage you to put the section on attitudes (pp. 32-35) in Chapter 1 [yeah, i've actually thought of doing it but wanted her to read it first]. It really seems out of place here. Otherwise the chapter is a comprehensive, coherent presentation of the research done to date. Way to go. Margie.
every day has so many ups and downs it's crazy.
