almost there

it's not because i'm not writing here that i'm not doing anything. this weekend my sis was here and we:
- found the addresses of 20 schools
- wrote address labels for each school
- wrote individual letters for each school directors
- made 1765 copies of questionnaires
- made 20 piles of questionnaires with 13 different languages in each pile
- wrote directions on how to distribute them
- added the letters and the directions to the piles
- got stamps and envelopes for $600
- calculated how many students were in each school and consequently how many return envelopes, stamps, and address labels needed to be sent to each of the 20 schools (we didn't find all this info yet, i'm still calling some schools to ask them how many students they have)
- put address labels and stamps on large envelopes with the big piles of 13 questionnaires/letters/directions in each envelope
- folded and added enough return envelopes/stamps/address labels in each large envelope with the questionnaires/directions/letters
- wrote postal labels for delivery confirmations and glued them to each envelopes
- calculated how many more schools i needed to contact/get irb permission/call/email/send stuff to/get numbers from/get director's permission from (ummmm...)
- made an excel spreadsheet to keep track of all that stuff
- prepared my websites and syllabi for my 2 new classes that i start teaching today
- went shopping in indy for some "job search" clothes and spent $400 each
- ate sushi twice and also a lot of pistachio ice-cream
- went to the movies
- talked a lot and sang a lot of dumb songs really loud
- played with the cats
- didn't sleep much!

FreZ, huhuh, you say "did" so that's the past tense. you don't use the past tense twice. so you say "which song DID you SING" :)

i sang .... i am afraid to say it... song by Joe Dassin... huhuh... very old songs ;)

Thx for the lesson, miss :-)
Don't be afraid. Songs by Joe Dassin are nice to hear and to sing.

This sounds like a lovely WE... i've received your cover letter in the morning but of course i can't concentrate on anything today, i'm just useless, sorry.. i'll give you some comments when i come back next tuesday, all right ? [just to let you know though, and since it's the right corner for english lessons, you've made a typo at the end of the 2nd paragraph "...and ESL students are may experience"; "are" shouldn't be there.]
